JC H2 Math Tuition Singapore: Onsite and Online

I joined Math Academy four months before my As, which was right around the final stretch of revision for various topics and chapters. Initially, I felt short on time with the exam approaching quickly, but Math Academy's materials, particularly the math notes, were incredibly concise and well-structured, making it easier to grasp complicated concepts. The notes are organized into different sections, and Mr. Ang takes the time to explain each concept in chunks, walking us through practice questions in class before moving on to the next concept. He also makes sure to circulate around the room, offering guidance and helping anyone who gets stuck. I personally found this teaching method, combined with the way the notes were broken down, to be extremely helpful. It allowed me to digest complex ideas in smaller, more manageable pieces that were easier to process and apply. The materials also classify different question types and outline key answering techniques and keywords to focus on, helping students understand how to apply the correct concepts to various problems. Mr. Ang is a dedicated and patient tutor who is committed to ensuring that the right concepts are instilled in his students' minds. He even makes himself available outside of lesson hours via WhatsApp or consultations to help with any questions. Thanks to Mr. Ang's support and the resources provided, I now feel much more confident in math and have a better understanding of the subject.

I am an ex-NJC student from Class of 2025. I was struggling with H2 Math because I didn't quite get how to approach the questions effectively and efficiently. After my promos, I was recommended to go for Mr Ang's Math Tuition. Initially, I wanted to merely try and see whether it suits me or not. However, after just 2 lessons, I already knew this is exactly what I needed. His techniques in approaching certain questions and how they can be solved using the most effective method truly helped me. He also goes through the process of solving more similar questions from various types of resources like Prelims and Past TYS questions. Practice is key and he aligns his lessons accordingly to prepare us for multiple types of questions. I recommend his lessons to students who are especially busy with their schoolwork and CCA. I highly recommend Math Academy, especially for students who may be struggling with Secondary 3 mathematics. I had been failing A Math throughout the year until I joined Math Academy. Ms Jolyn is exceptionally patient and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure her students understand every type of question. The additional learning materials uploaded to Google Classroom also provide a convenient and effective way to review and reinforce what we covered in class.

Was a student here from J1 till the end of my A Levels, and Mr.Ang has been an amazing teacher. His material is very thorough, with multiple question types and practice questions for each(many of which came out in the paper). He is also very patient and thorough when answering questions. The relatively smaller class size also facilitates easy questioning. Overall a very positive experience going to tuition here and am very happy!

Joined with a U grade for my h2 math mid-year exams and in just a month or less, I’d achieved a drastic improvement to a C for Prelims! Thank you Mr Ang for working hard to strategically organise the content in our syllabus into bits much easier for us to understand! My time here since Sec 1 has been really enriching and definitely helped me throughout the years. The teachers here are extremely patient and would take their time to explain every queries and questions in detail even outside of lesson time. After coming to Math Academy, my grades for emath and a math have soared and managed to achieve A1 for both maths in 2025 O level examinations. I am really grateful and thankful for the teachers that accompanied me throughout my Secondary school journey.

In Primary School, Mathematics had been a problem for me. I used to detest the subject a lot and often, could not do well for Maths in primary school. However, after joining Maths Academy in Secondary 1, my passion and interest for this subject grew. I began to love solving Maths questions, and sometimes, even treating it like a hobby The style of teaching and resources that this tuition provide is so essential and so helpful. I could consistently get A's since Sec 1 all the way to Sec 4 is due to the very patient and caring teachers, Ms Raine and Ms Jolyn. They use simple yet effective methods to teach concepts and questions that i stumble upon. Mr Ang is a very helpful and approachable teacher. I am able to comfortably voice out for help under his teaching and I’m very grateful to him as he gave me the motivation to do math and made this subject more enjoyable for me. Consequently, I was able to get an A for H2 Math due to his patient teaching and professionalism!

I joined Math Academy after scoring multiple F9s in Math, but under the guidance of teacher jolyn, I was able to improve tremendously to achieve A1 in my Math and AMath papers in my 'O'levels. All the teachers there are very kind and patient. They will care for their students by checking up on students' understanding of the concepts once in a while. The teaching materials are very clear and concise, emphasising on all the key concepts. The teachers are able identify my problems in a question very quickly and point out with detailed explanations, allowing me to learn better. I believe Math Academy has played a huge role in helping me achieve good grades. ^-^

Mr Ang is genuinely one of the most sincere and patient teachers I’ve ever met. He always explains concepts thoroughly until we fully understand them, and his notes are detailed yet concise. Compared to my school notes which are often wordy and confusing, his notes make learning so much clearer and efficient. Each set of notes covers every possible question type for each topic, making it much easier to grasp the concepts, especially during exam preparation. He ensures that every question I have is answered and even takes the time to circle all of my mistakes when I send him questions over Whatsapp. I have never felt embarrassed no matter how many questions I had to ask as Mr Ang was always so patient and willing to help, which was extremely helpful for a student with weak foundations like me. Joining this tuition genuinely saved my Math in JC, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Throughout the course of 4 years with Math academy, I had been guided by two very patient and helpful teachers, Teacher Raine & Teacher Jolyn. With the small group class, it was easy for me to approach them as they were always willing to clarify my doubts especially when I brought up questions that I was unsure of. So thankful that I have aced both my O-levels math due to their relentless dedication & hard work on my end. I joined Teacher Jolyn's class since Secondary 1. Initially my grades were around C5, but after her tuition class, i got distinctions for my O' Level. Teacher Jolyn is very helpful and have passion in her teaching. She is very patient towards us too. Highly recommend this tuition centre.

I have been in this tuition centre from sec 1 to jc 2 and received great results for both my national exams! All the teachers here are very clear in teaching and they provide thorough notes that are easy to understand. Mr Ang is a very patient teacher and he is able to help slower students like me in grasping concepts. He is also quick to answer and solve our math problems.
