I started joining Math Academy from the start of my Secondary Four journey, in 2015. My AMath results were border line passes at that time, hence I enrolled myself into this tuition centre, hoping to pull up my grades. And, when my O’ Levels Results came out. I actually had A1 for my Additional Mathematics! There are two main points about why I really recommend Math Academy.
Firstly, I get to study in a small group. Unlike most tuition centres I’ve been to, Math Academy only assigns five to six students per class. This means that more attention and time will be diverted to me whenever I need help. Also, Math Academy provides an extremely quiet and conducive environment for me to study.
Secondly, Math Academy has managed to pull up my grades mostly because of my dedicated teacher, Ms Jolyn Ang. She is always very helpful, to guide me along the way. I also appreciate her style of teaching as she learns from students and gives us time to think and respond. She provides ample practice for students to do too. Hence, with a genuine teacher like Ms Ang, I start to enjoy doing Math more. Hence, pushing myself to work harder and to see progress eventually. I also like how Ms Ang provides clear and precise notes for the students to refer to.
All in all, I enjoy going to Math Academy because of its provision of a dedicated teacher, and a conducive environment to learn.
