I started having tuition lessons at Math Academy since I was in secondary one as I was not very good in math in primary school.
At math academy, I was tutored mainly by Mr Ang. Mr Ang is very clear in his teaching. At the start of a every new topic, he would be patient to go through a variety of questions together with his students. He breaks down the most difficult questions for us and shows us a step by step way of approaching them in future. He would always clear my doubts whenever he sees me struggling with questions.
He is also open for his students to ask him questions during or outside tuition. There was an instance when I was in doubt of a certain topic just weeks before an exam, Mr Ang did not hesitate to print me more notes on the topic when I asked for help.
With the help of Mr Ang, I was able to maintain an A1 or an A2 for E.math in secondary 1 and secondary 2 and also in A.math when I was in secondary 3 and secondary 4. I scored an A2 for A.math at the O’ levels. Without Math Academy, I would not be where I am today.
