Being taught by her has cultivated in me a strong interest and desire for Elementary and Additional Mathematics in my upper secondary years, of which was a great fear. Under her unrelenting guidance, my confidence level has consistently increased, and my grades, though may not have shown profound changes, have certainly become a self-esteem booster each time, pushing me further, along with Ms Ang’s heartwarming encouragement and motivational words.
Every class in Math Academy is kept to a limited size, so you can be at ease for every student is sure to receive individualized attention. The pace of each class is also moderate, and is often altered to suit the respective class’s standards, so students have no fear that they are either unable to catch up with the class, or that they’ll not be able to enrich themselves should they be already achieving stellar results.
Weekly work is assigned every lesson, and all worksheets and notes are specially designed in a manner such that they are easy to comprehend. The questions set in the worksheets come to great use when one sits for an examination as they’re frequently tested questions, hence students will be more accustomed to the questions being set in their respective schools. These questions enforce the skills tested, and ensure that students are highly aware of how to tackle such questions.
Lessons do not end when one simply steps out of the doors of this tuition centre. Teachers here are more than willing to attend to students almost at any time of the day. One may feel free to constantly contact the teachers here about questions in which they are unsure of, and I can assure you, you will get an almost immediate and instantaneous reply. Doubts are hence not simply cleared in the confines of the classroom, but in fact, anywhere and anytime! This ensures students constantly refine and sharpen their math skills so that they’ll be able to tackle any paper thrown at them.
